Private equity firm finds new home on King Street

PRIVATE equity specialist Lloyds Development Capital, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, is relocating from One Marsden Street in Manchester to nearby 82 King Street.

It has signed a five-year lease on 10th floor of the building, totalling 5,450sq ft, with WHR Property Consultants, acting on behalf of BMO Real Estate Partners.

Harry Skinner of WHR said: “82 King Street is one of the most iconic buildings in the city’s traditional prime office core and we are delighted to announce LDC, which follows recent lettings to Odgers Berndtson and Foresight Capital.

“There is now only one floor of 6,100sq ft remaining which is subject to strong interest from potential occupiers.”

Neil Mort of CBRE who acted on behalf of Lloyds Development Capital, added:  “This building suited our client’s specific requirements and provided Grade A office accommodation in a statement building befitting Lloyd’s image.”

GVA and TSG are the retained joint letting agents together with WHR for 82 King Street.
