Six-figure makeover for backpacker hostel

A BACKPACKERS’ hostel in Liverpool has completed a six figure investment into the facility in line with a major company rebrand.

Euro Hostel Liverpool is a boutique hostel, which has entrances on Stanley Street and Mathew Street, amd has now ‘fully fledged’ in mirroring the UK hostel brand’s sister sites located across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.

In a bid to bridge the gap between backpacker hostel and budget hotel, Euro Hostel Liverpool now comprises an array of innovative additions including five new VIP suites equipped with private living and bathroom spaces, a multi-storey food, drink and events space renamed The Hatch Bar, together with upgraded public areas.

General manager of Euro Hostel Liverpool Emma Wright said: “Having fully adapted Euro Hostel’s signature ethos and image, we share synergy with the existing three venues, which strive to provide quality at an affordable price.

“Now with four sites trading, the aim is to acquire additional sites spanning across the UK and Europe to maximise our geographical reach.

“In order to complement the brand’s prominent central locations, the Liverpool site housed within the iconic Wade Smith building that once was, certainly champions this as a result of its world famous Cavern Quarter heritage.”
