Nearly 400K passengers set to fly away to sun

NEARLY 400,000 passengers are set to fly out of Manchester Airport during the Bank Holiday weekend.
The top five destinations top destination for travellers is Palma, followed by Alicante, Amsterdam, Tenerife and Dublin.
Between today (Friday) and Monday there will be an estimated 392,000 passengers travelling through the airport.
The numbers of the same period last year were 355,000, reflecting a growth of 10.4%. The busiest day of the weekend will be today when 103,000 passengers jet off.
Some 70,000 passengers are set to fly away using Liverpool John Lennon Airport over the weekend.
