PE firm launches deal origination team

MANCHESTER-based private equity company NorthEdge Capital has announced the launch of a specialist deal origination team as part of its ongoing investment to support the development and growth of the firm.
NorthEdge now has more than £525m funds under management since the final close of NorthEdge Capital Fund II which reached the £300m hard cap in March this year.
Ray Stenton, partner and head of new vusiness, will be supported by James Hales who joins as head of origination.
Hales spent seven years leading the highly successful origination activities of global corporate finance advisory business, Clearwater International.
Catherine Bucko, pictured, moves into the role of deal Origination executive. With almost four years’ experience supporting the deal teams in transaction execution and business development at NorthEdge, Catherine will be responsible for supporting the team in identifying new investment opportunities.
