Derwent Group launches business hub

OWNER The Derwent Group has launched Walkden Business Hub at Walkden town centre in Salford.
It is part of a wider strategy to weave commercial space for local businesses into its successful retail and leisure development at Walkden.
In total 6,965sq ft of newly refurbished office space is available split into 10 new units ranging in size from 369sq ft to 1,500sq ft in a number of configurations.
Office space rents will start from £115 per week per unit, including service charges and insurance, providing flexible terms to suit a range of budgets.
The new offices will be accompanied by meeting room facilities, over 2,000 on-site car parking spaces, 24-hour security, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to local amenities including the strong retail and leisure offering that continues to expand.
Walkden Business Hub is located approximately eight miles north west of Manchester city centre, and is prominently positioned on the junction of Bolton Road (A575) and the A6, a principal arterial route in and out of Manchester city centre.
The centre provides 450,000sq ft of retail space and boasts a footfall of 150,000 per week. Current tenants include Tesco, Boots, B&M, JD Sports, Aldi, Pizza Hut, Subway, and Costa Coffee.
