Marketing firm signs up for Exchange Quays

COMMERCIAL property consultant Canning O’Neill has let its building 10 Exchange Quay in Salford Quays to marketing agency OLIVER Group.

The agency, which acquired Manchester-based Aylesworth Flemming earlier in the year, will relocate from Furness House in Salford Quays to take the self-contained 2,840 sq ft building on a new 10-year lease. The deal comes after Trox UK vacated the property in August.

Sharon Whale, chief executive officer at OLIVER UK, said: “Our philosophy at OLIVER is to be on the inside of our clients’ businesses literally and metaphorically, to provide better, faster, and more effective work.

“Our Salford Quays office is an instrumental part of that – Manchester is one of the most creative and innovative places in the UK, its economy is as big as Ireland’s and it has excellent transport links.

“The office is vital in driving our growth in the north of the UK and is excellently placed as a specialist hub to support all our onsite creative teams for clients in the Greater Manchester area, the Midlands and the North including Scotland.”

Mark Canning, director at Canning O’Neill, said: “Originally built to be the marketing pavilion for Exchange Quay, No 10 will provide OLIVER with a fantastic image and the control that comes with a self-contained building.

“Yet it will also enable them to take advantage of all the benefits of being part of the larger Exchange Quays scheme.

“On site amenities now include a restaurant, a convenience store and post office, a Kid’s Planet children’s day nursery and a 20,000 sq ft Pure Gym.”

OLIVER, who represented themselves, will move into the building this month.
