Law firm moves into St James’s Tower

COUPLAND Cavendish, trading as Gowing Law Solictors, has taken a five-year lease on the recently refurbished 12th and 14th floors at St James’s Tower in Manchester.

The space totals 5,958sq ft at a rent of £22.50 per sq ft.

BA Pension Fund, represented jointly by Savills and OBI, completed the deal.

Mark Evans, managing director of Coupland Cavendish, said: “We are excited to be moving into St James’s Tower which is perfectly suited for our growing business.”

Daniel Barnes, associate in the office agency team at Savills, said: “We are pleased to have let two floors at St James’s Tower to Coupland Cavendish following a significant investment in refurbishment by BA Pension Fund. 

“The building has recently attracted considerable interest and works are now underway on refurbishment of the sixth through to the tenth floors, which will be ready for occupation from the start of December.” 

Savills is also the managing agent at the property.
