NORTH West multi-disciplinary property specialist Cassidy + Ashton has expanded its footprint into North Wales by opening a new office in Mold.

Based  in St Andrew’s Business Centre, the new office follows an increase in business locally and will allow the architectural, building surveying and planning practice to capitalise on growing demand for developments within the region.

Cassidy + Ashton is already working on a number of projects across North Wales, including a poultry processing facility in Maelor, a series of barn conversions in Holt and Rossett and a 180-property residential scheme in Rhosrobin.

The company is also integral to strategic land promotion in Flintshire, through the Local Development Plan, for residential development in Penyffordd, Buckley and Mold.

In addition, Cassidy + Ashton has been working on various schemes for Powys Council and Wrexham Council to increase the energy efficiency in its housing stock.

The firm’s team of architects have also been working with a local developer in Anglesey to design and obtain planning approvals for new build residential flats.

To capitalise on growth for local demand and cement the firm’s investment, Cassidy + Ashton has also recruited two Revit technicians with local expertise and knowledge.

Dave Owen, director at Cassidy + Ashton, said: “The market is somewhat underserviced in North Wales, with very few architects able to offer the breadth of services we do. We act as a one-stop-shop and that’s exactly why we already have a solid track record with clients across the border.

“The new Wales office provides us with close proximity to our clients and signals our ambitions to grow and seek out new opportunities.”
