The once flagging night-time economy of Bolton town centre has been revitalised by the increasing popularity of The Vaults, part of the Market Place Shopping Centre.
The latest outlet to open in the continental-style basement in the complex following its £20m conversion by owners Moorgarth will be the Baltic Cellar on Monday (February 13).
A spokesman for Baltic said: “Baltic Cellar brings Russia, Poland and the Baltics to Bolton with their traditional shashlik grill, friendly staff and beautiful interior.
“If you want to taste traditional alcohol and hand-crafted dishes, this bar/restaurant is the perfect place to dine after your shop.
Baltic Cellar is the latest addition to The Vaults – where there are a selection of eateries and bars including Great Ale, GBK, Prezzo, Pepe’s Grill and Nando’s.
The Market Place is also home to the nine-screen Light cinema complex.
Nikki Wilson-Cook centre manager said:“We’re really excited for the opening of Baltic Cellar at Market Place Shopping Centre.
“The bar will make a fantastic place for our customers to come together and enjoy their night – be sure not to miss out.”
