MCM Liverpool Comic Con
You can’t miss Liverpool’s Comic Con if you love all things comics, video games, sci-fi and cosplay. The event is taking place all weekend at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre and will include some of the most iconic stars from sci-fi classics, including Sam Jones. Happy Mondays
Manchester icons The Happy Mondays are headlining a night of Madchester music this weekend. Head along to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre at Trafford Park to hear the likes of Step On and Kinky Afro from the band alongside Hacienda legends including Graeme Park and Dave Haslam. Hansel and Gretel
One of the very best fairy tales of all time, Hansel and Gretel will come to life on stage at The Lowry in Salford on Saturday. The play will follow the story of Hansel and Gretel, who escape from their poor family and into the world of the forest. That’s Showbiz National Group Dance Finals
That’s Showbiz is the largest group dance competition in the UK and the finals are taking place this weekend at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. With over 500 routines and more than 6000 spectators, the event is set to show the very best dance talent that the UK has to offer. For Folk’s Sake
A new folk music event is taking place this Sunday in Manchester. For Folk’s Sake, which is being held at the Piccadilly Tap, will showcase the beers from top brewers in the UK and abroad as well as a range of local musical talents.
