Exhange Chambers welcomes new barristers

EXCHANGE Chambers has welcomed three new barristers and a senior clerk after opening in Leeds.

Paul Kirtley has joined frrom Park Court Chambers while Bruce Walker and Jonathan French have joined from Chancery House.

Ian Spencer, formerly of 37 Park Square Chambers, has been appointed as senior clerk.

Already based in Liverpool and Manchester, Exchange is the largest set of barristers’ chambers in the North and has now opened at Oxford House in Leeds.

Tom Handley, director of chambers at Exchange Chambers said: “We are delighted to make such a strong start in Leeds with high calibre barristers and a first rate clerk already on board.

“Our message to solicitors is a simple one. There is no need to go to London when the regional Bar is so strong and can provide such an outstanding service.”

The new recruits join existing Exchange Chambers members Nick Johnson and Bill Hanbury.
