Ten Alps announces business review
MEDIA company Ten Alps, The London-based media company whose publishing operations are headquartered in Macclesfield, has said that it is to undertake “a reorganisation of its business streams”.
The company said that following a review of its operations by the board, it is to reorganise in a bid to cut costs and to “simplify the Company’s offering in the marketplace”.
The Aim-listed company also said this morning that Teachers’ TV, the joint venture TV channel run in conjunction with ITV, is to be closed after the Department for Education decided to cut its funding, effective from April 29, 2011.
It said that no prior warning had been given for the cut, and it had yet to make a decision about the channel’s related online TV product.
