French Colwell launches NW office

YORKSHIRE marketing agency French Colwell has expanded into the North West with the launch of an office in Manchester.

The office is being led by respected marketeer Andrew Colwell, who will combine this with his role as partner at corporate finance boutique Ford Campbell.

He founded the firm 15 months ago when he left Altrincham-based call centre and data firm LBM.

Joining Mr Colwell are creative director, Terry Trainor and senior account manager, Genevra Biesty.

Terry joins French Colwell after spending 11 years at USP Creative in Liverpool where he held the same position. Genevra was previously marketing campaigns manager at LBM and a colleague of Andrew’s.

Andrew Colwell said today: “I am delighted to welcome Terry and Genevra on board who will form the foundations on which to build a really strong team, delivering an industry leading service to our ever increasing client base”

Clients include Royal & SunAlliance, O2 and the Andrew Flintoff Foundation, and more locally IFA Parker Kelly and Ford Campbell.

:: Meanwhile Weber Shandwick Manchester has recruited Nadia Kassass, 27, as an account manager in its corporate team. Nadia  who joins from Altrincham company Mere PR, will be working primarily with new client Aldi.
