Barclays arranges £60m facility for holiday group

BARCLAYS Corporate in Manchester has arranged a £60m facility for holiday park operator, the Haulfryn Group.
The family-owned business is based in Berkshire but was established by the Minoprio family in Abersoch, north Wales.
The company has its human resources and IT divisions in Chester.
Barclays relationship director Andrew Meadowcroft and Glenn Clarke, director of debt finance, arranged the facility. DLA advised Barclays, with KPMG and Tozers advising Haulfryn.
Mr Meadowcroft said: “This is a great example of how Barclays are bringing together the various parts of the businesses to support our client’s interests and our strong appetite to provide funding to quality businesses in the region.”
Haulfryn chairman Stephen Minoprio said: “The new facility underpins the quality of our parks and robustness of our business model. It will provide a stable platform to deliver our five-year plan and give our team members confidence in the development of our business.”
