Wynsors signs up ex-Boddies girl

TV presenter Melanie Sykes is the new face of Lancashire show retailer Wynsors.

The former model and Boddingtons girl, who hails from Mossley, will feature in the Bacup-based company’s latest TV advertising campaign, which will launch in a month’s time.

The campaign advert will express the value of Wynsors footwear for the family, and promote the company as an ideal destination for shoppers looking to save money during the recession.

Filming began this week for the ad, which is being produced by Manchester-based Phaebus Media Group.

Wynsors, which  operates 34 stores across the north, will open two new stores in Wakefield and Chester this month.
