Insolvency expert Dunham joins GT

INSOLVENCY expert Matt Dunham has left BDO Stoy Hayward to join Grant Thornton.
Mr Dunham has a high profile in the business turnaround market and is the North West chairman of insolvency trade body R3.
Major cases he has handled include helping Bury FC’s out of insolvency, while he was the administrator of the car dealerships, Horners and Caledonian, and the motor parts retailer Motorworld.
Mr Dunham, 44, who has been based in Manchester for the past 10 years, joins as a partner and will work alongside Les Ross and David Riley in the recovery and reorganisation department.
He said: “Les, David and the team at Grant Thornton have a tremendous reputation for turning around ailing companies. I am really looking forward to the opportunity of working with them to build further on this.
“It is a busy time to be joining the team, especially as corporate insolvencies are predicted to continue rising.”
