Screwfix nails new units

SCREWFIX Direct, the wholesaler which sells building materials to trade buyers, has taken two new units at Aurora Property Group’s Gateway Park scheme at Bangor in North Wales.

Screwfix Direct has taken units three and four at the scheme, amounting to 7,032 sq ft of space on a 10-year lease. It will join existing tenant Eurocell, leaving only one 3,653 sq ft trade counter unit available on the first phase of the scheme.

The first phase also includes a further 60,000 sq ft of existing warehouse space which is currently available to let.

The 12-acre site is on the A5 arterial route to Bangor, close to the A55 North Wales coastal route.

Rob Taylor of letting agent Knight Frank, said: “The first phase of the scheme has been received very well and there certainly seems to be a demand for trade counter facilities in the North West.

“The second phase of development is now underway and will consist of seven units totalling in Richard Baddeley & Company is joint agent alongside Knight Frank.
