Myprotein signs Baggies deal

MANCHESTER-based sports nutrition supplements firm MyProtein has signed a deal with Barclays Premier League side West Bromwich Albion to become its official nutrition supplier.
The company will be advising Albion on its current nutritional strategy and taking up advertising space at the club’s ground, The Hawthorns.
The club’s head of medical services, Mark Gillett, said: “The performance of our players is of the highest priority and nutrition plays a major role in that. Therefore, we’re delighted to have Myprotein as a supplier.
“The range of products will tailor to our players’ needs and ensure they are physically prepared for a tough season.”
Myprotein already has a similar deal in place with Aviva Premiership rugby union side London Irish.
Mark Coxhead, Head of Marketing at Myprotein, said: “We relish the challenge of providing Albion with the best sports nutrition available and look forward to working closely with them for the rest of the season.”
