Property firm names new head of South West region

JLL has announced that Tim Harris has been appointed to lead its South West and Wales region, encompassing offices in Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff.

Simon Peacock, who has undertaken the role for the last six years, will now focus his leadership responsibilities on his existing head of regions and head of clients roles.

Harris has spent the last 20 years at JLL; his most recent position was UK operations director for project and development services.

During his tenure at JLL he has undertaken a range of senior roles including head of UK operations for project, cost consultancy, head of South project management and South region CFO.

Based in Bristol, he will work closely with Tim Western in Exeter and Justin Millett in Cardiff to provide clients with a seamless service.

Peacock said: “Tim has demonstrated over many years his excellent client management skills, building relationships and client accounts, in particular with higher education and tech clients.

“Like me, Tim is very passionate about the region and the opportunities it boasts, having delivered many regionally significant projects for over 20 years for developers, investors and occupiers.
