Law firm unveils latest arrival

Bristol law firm VWV has announced the newest addition to its team.

Alexandra Ueno-Park, an experienced tax specialist,  will be leading the firm’s expanded tax services.

Alex prides herself on providing clients with pragmatic and holistic advice, spanning subjects from small to medium-sized enterprises to ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

VWV Managing Partner Steven McGuigan said the arrival of Alexandra Ueno-Park is an important strategic move that aligns with the future vision for the firm and will benefit all clients.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alexandra as a partner at VWV. Her acquisition marks a significant addition to the firm, enabling us to further expand our tax team. VWV is committed to growth, and Alex will play a vital role in this journey. She’ll not only attract new clients but also enhance the overall client experience.”

Alex has recognised VWV’s long history, dating back to the 19th century, and appreciates the firm’s unique style, “devoid of stuffiness and pretension.” She labels VWV’s position as “one of the best legal advisors in our chosen sectors”.

With a diverse career encompassing private businesses, regulatory compliance for an FCA-regulated firm, and serving as General Counsel for a private company, Alex brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Alex joined VWV in September, working from our London offices, and she highlights the genuine, friendly, and supportive nature of our staff.

“As a working parent of two young children, a flexible and supportive working environment was key without losing an opportunity to work with some of the fantastic clients and talented colleagues. I am delighted to be able to join the incredible team at VWV”

Beyond her extensive tax sector expertise, Alex is multilingual in English, Korean, and Japanese. Her diverse professional background, coupled with her robust management skills, equips Alex to advise and help a wide array of domestic and international stakeholders.
