Cheltenham comms firm acquired by national business

A Cheltenham communications and IT specialist has been acquired by a national business.

CloudClevr has announced the acquisition of Bamboo Technology Group.

The investment follows an earlier investment in NGC Networks and 4Sight Communications and it also gives CloudClevr increased geographic coverage in the South West.

The deal will bring complementary communications and IT capabilities to the group as well as significant additional scale. 

The acquisition is the third in a series of strategic investments which sees CloudClevr emerge as a next generation managed services provider focused on delivering converged cloud, IT, and communications services.  

Steve Harris, chief executive of CloudClevr has assumed the role of chief executive of Bamboo Technology Group with immediate effect.

Lorrin White and Stuart Davies will be staying on in an advisory capacity.
