Property firm announces string of appointments across South West

Property consultancy CBRE has made a number of appointments in its Bristol team.

Richard Howell has been appointed a senior director in its capital markets team and Lee Halmshaw has become a director in its rating division.

Richard Howell joins from Avison Young, where he set up the firm’s Bristol investment team. In his role based at CBRE’s Bristol office, he will cover the South West and South Wales investment markets, working with sector team leads.

Lee Halmshaw also joins CBRE from Avison Young, where he built his career over the past 19 years. He will further drive CBRE’s rating offering across the region.

Further new starters include two new building consultancy hires. Stephen Golding who will join as associate director, and Lauren Sporle as assistant surveyor.

Sophie Haslum joins as associate director in the development team, while Fraser Mitchell and Alistair Norman join as senior surveyors in the firm’s property management team.

Halmshaw added: “I’m looking forward to harnessing CBRE’s national knowledge as our team leverage our local market insights to support a number of organisations in the South West and South Wales on their Rating requirements.”
