Pub group announces changes at the top table

The firm behind Butcombe Brewery have made changes to its senior management team.

Pub operator Liberation Group has announced two key changes.

Following his recent appointment to the board, Jayson Perfect has been appointed chief operating officer.

Jayson will have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Liberation Group’s pubs and drinks businesses and accountability for its P&L delivery.

In a new appointment for the company, Jamie Queen will join Liberation Group as chief growth officer.

Jamie’s previous roles include group marketing director for Thomas Cook and  chief commercial officer for Buzz Bingo.

Chief executive Jonathan Lawson said: “We have made very strong progress over the last few years and have clear opportunities for further growth including accommodation, events and experiences, enhancing our digital customer journey and accelerating our free trade growth.
