Roll-out of Wilko stores continues with new opening in Poole

The national roll-out of new wilko stores is continuing across the UK with the retailer announcing that it’s next store will be in Poole, Dorset.

Plymouth based CDS is behind the relaunch of the brand which collapsed into administration last year.

Work will begin soon at the Dolphin Centre site and the store launch date will be announced shortly, alongside news of further openings during 2024.

The announcement in Poole follows successful concept store launches in Plymouth, Exeter and Luton, with stores in Rotherham and St Albans set to open this spring.

The store opening programme, which will include the brand reaching high streets in Northern Ireland for the first time, accompanies the relaunch of wilko.com.

The site has welcomed thousands of customers and is bigger and better than ever with popular features such as next day delivery and flexible payment terms having returned.

There are now over 50,000 products for customers to choose from across home and garden categories.

Wilko owners, CDS Superstores, is encouraging landlords across the UK to open productive conversations if they’re interested in being considered for the roll-out programme.
