Bristol-based advisers at Evelyn Partners Corporate Finance and Clarke Willmott have advised Indepth Hygiene Services, one of the UK’s leading specialist fire safety companies, on its sale to Premier Technical Services Group Limited (PTSG).

With more than 20 years experience in the fire safety market, Indepth provides nationwide coverage from its base in the London Borough of Sutton to customers across the UK.

Its core service offering includes fire damper maintenance and grease extract ductwork cleaning.

PTSG, based near Castleford in West Yorkshire, provides a portfolio of passive fire services in a range of sectors through its fire solutions division. The acquisition of Indepth strengthens its capability, extending the group’s offering and ensuring clients will have access to all fire services (electrical, mechanical, passive and/or specialist) in one place.

The Evelyn Partners corporate finance team in Bristol comprised partner Iain Lownes, director Mark Lord and senior manager Tristan Bray.

Legal advice to the vendors was provided by Clarke Willmott in Bristol, with a team led by corporate partner Simon Smith.

Richard Norman, managing director and former owner of Indepth, said: “The Evelyn Partners team were instrumental in navigating us through the process from start to finish.

“Their experience was invaluable, guiding us at each stage by providing hands-on support and advice, whilst being a pleasure to work with. It was crucial for us to find a party to continue the success of Indepth and we are pleased to have achieved that with PTSG.”

Lownes said: “We are delighted to have supported Richard and his team. Indepth is a highly attractive business and PTSG will be an excellent home. We look forward to seeing it continue to prosper under its new ownership.”

“We were pleased to work alongside Evelyn Partners in providing advice to Richard and Nicola Norman on the sale,” added Smith. “We look forward to seeing the business continue to grow in the future.”
