Loungers to open latest venue in home city

Fast growing chain Loungers is set to open its biggest restaurant to date in its home city.

The group, which now has more than 200 venues across the UK, is set open its latest venue on Bristol’s harbourside.

The group will open its latest venue at the Pitcher and Piano Bar in Bristol following the closure of the bar.

A spokesperson for the company said: “We are in advanced negotiations regarding a site on Bristol’s harbourside and hope to open a Lounge there.

“We are really proud of our Bristol heritage and hope that this location will allow us to welcome a new Lounge in our home city.

“Should we be successful in completing this deal, we look forward to the Bristol Pitcher & Piano team joining the Loungers family.”

Loungers was founded in 2002 by a trio of friends, having spent years in the restaurant and bar trade.

It is now one of the UK’s fasted growing hospitality group and operates under three brand – Lounges, Cosy Club and the recently launched Brightside.
