New director at South West property firm

Commercial real estate firm Avison Young has appointed of Hollie Ruddle as regional investment director in its Bristol office.

Hollie arrives at the firm with over 20 years of commercial property experience in the South West.

Prior to taking up her new post at Avison Young, she spent time at LSH, Cushman & Wakefield and most recently Clifton Agency.

Her areas of experience focus on the core commercial investment sectors and include student accommodation, hotels, and build-to-rent.

As part of Avison Young’s regional investment team, Hollie will be taking a South West focus, working alongside the firm’s investment, sector and consultancy teams to support the ambitions of both regional and national investment clients.

The appointment is the latest milestone in Avison Young’s accelerated commitment to growing its regional presence across the UK. In the new role, Hollie will be working closely with the Bristol office service lines to create opportunities for investment and development within both the public and private sectors.

The growth of Avison Young’s Bristol office comes as a recent report by the firm revealed that Bristol’s economy is expected to grow by 8.9 per cent over the next five years, significantly outpacing the rest of the UK, driven primarily by the expansion of its knowledge industries, including artificial intelligence and life sciences.
