Digital agency launched in response to growing demand

Independent agency collective Istoria Group has launched a third agency.

Tiny Spark will cater to the growing demand for digital experiences coming to the group.

Previously working as the digital team within exhibition design agency, Ignition, Tiny Spark has established a robust client list of its own and now launches as a stand-alone agency.

The agency is focused on digital experiences and sensory storytelling for purposeful growing businesses.

With existing clients including Clue Computing, Self Agency (Neurodiversity Consultants), Better Together (Online Safety) and Groundtruth Global, the team have ambitious growth plans.

Managing digital director Alex Saxon, said: “We’re hugely proud of the contribution we’ve been able to make to Ignition since 2020.

“Now, with demand for digital experiences increasing at pace, it’s time for us to offer our own unique proposition, while continuing to support the physical exhibition arm of the Istoria business. We’re always striving to innovate, particularly to bridge the gap between tech and physical, providing people with new and personalised experiences that help brands connect with customers on a sensory level”.

Sam Rowe, chief executive  of Istoria Group and Ignition continues “One of the great advantages of being independently owned is that we have the freedom to recognise the immense value our teams bring and can flex and grow our business in the way that suits our people and our customers best. During lockdown, all live events came to a global standstill.

“As an agile business, we quickly pivoted to create a world-class digital events offer for our clients. We recruited the best digital talent to help us develop the offer, getting it up and running within three months. The Tiny Spark team has become a critical part of Ignition and the wider Istoria Group over the last four years and it’s time for them to flourish in their own right, supported like all of us by the culture, processes and systems of the collective. I look forward to seeing what is in store for this fantastic team”.

Tiny Spark’s launch is an exciting next step in the growth of independently owned, Istoria group, a collective of creative agencies with distinct but complementary skill sets.

Built with a vision to balance people and planet with profit, the group consists of three agencies: Ignition: creator of exhibitions, events and experiences, Phoenix Wharf: interior design and branding, and now Tiny Spark: offering digital experiences.

Founded in 2007, the group is female-owned and B Corp accredited.

The agency’s ambitious 2024 business strategy includes plans for profitable growth up to 2030, alongside bold commitments to become carbon neutral, provisions for volunteering and increased pro bono support for underrepresented businesses and communities.
