Consultants appoint new director for the South West

Consultants Director Group has announced a new member of it team in the South West.

Ben O’Connor has joined the business as an associate director and will be focusing on commercial occupiers, Science Parks and research and development sectors.

Mr O’Connor is a general practice chartered surveyor with over 25 years’ experience.

He has held senior roles at major UK players such as GVA, Homes England, Kajima, and Cushman and Wakefield.

His extensive background in commercial agency, science parks and R&D, occupier strategy and development management, makes him a pivotal team member in the future of Director Group.

“We’re over the moon to have Ben join Director Group to extend our service offering for tech, science and R&D,” said director, Stephen Pannell, MRICS.

“Ben has a wealth of experience in providing first rate Estates Strategy and commercial advice to a whole host of leading projects and businesses. He’s going to be a real asset to Director Group”.

Ben O’Connor has worked across the South West, South East and London.

He started his career in development and site acquisitions followed by time in commercial and office agency.

In recent years he has broadened his horizons into public sector advisory, strategy, and development management with several private and public sector clients.

He can offer clients advice across the property lifecycle from acquisition, delivery, strategy, asset management through to disposal.
