Engineering group completes £1m HQ investment
Industrial valve manufacturer Rotolok has completed another major investment at its Tiverton site in Devon.
Both factory and office areas have benefited from a £1m upgrade.
Building infrastructure improvements include the installation of a new roof, re-cladding of the building’s exterior, and the addition of new windows. These upgrades will enhance insulation and energy performance, supporting the business’s sustainability efforts.
Following the introduction of a new robotic welding cell in 2023, two additional machines have been purchased and installed in the company’s machine shop. They will increase the capacity for machining end cover and rotor parts and also eliminate the need for a manual lathe, creating a safer working environment.
Sean Swales, managing director, said: “Being efficient is one of our core values and we commit to invest in advanced manufacturing and seek out opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint.
“These investments support our focus on operational enhanced precision engineering, coupled with our continued efforts to prioritise staff wellbeing.”
