BNP Paribas Real Estate relocates to landmark Bristol building

BNP Paribas Real Estate has relocated its South West office to the Halo building in Bristol’s Finzels Reach development.
The firm will occupy 3,000 sq ft of the Grade A office space on the ground floor of the building located on the corner of Temple Street and Counterslip.
The news follows the appointment of Kevin Hunt as head of its Bristol office which was announced earlier this month.
Halo forms a key part of the second phase of Finzels Reach, the mixed neighbourhood on the former Courage Brewery site by Bristol Bridge and the Floating Harbour, which is fast-becoming a hub for professional and creative companies.
Accountancy group Deloitte is also a tenant after moving more than 600 staff spread across two offices in Rivergate and Bull Wharf to occupy 22,500 sq ft over two floors in Halo.
Halo is also home to the Bristol base of international law firm Osborne Clarke, which occupies 74,000 sq ft.
Etienne Prongué, CEO (UK) at BNP Paribas Real Estate, said: “This move reflects our wider commitment to sustainability, innovation, and providing a UK workspace offering that promotes increased collaboration and well-being for our team and clients alike.
“We made great strides in recent years with the success of our Glasgow office relocation, and most recently, with our London moves, which has been a valuable play in further developing our positioning. Halo forms the latest part of this strategic drive as we actively review our overall portfolio to fit our operations.”
The Halo building offers end-of-journey facilities, including secure bike storage, electric car charging points, and luxury changing rooms.
BNP Paribas Real Estate was advised by Tesson Consulting Limited and CBRE IM by Knight Frank and LSH.
