Law firm transforms HQ into charity dining experience

Earlier this month, law firm Burges Salmon transformed its Glassworks restaurant at the firm’s HQ in Bristol into a dining experience, raising more than £10,000 for charity.
In collaboration with its catering partner, BaxterStorey, the event was hosted by Josh Eggleton MBE, the renowned chef behind The Pony Chew Valley restaurant, in support of The Pony Farm Bus – an initiative to convert a retired bus into a community hub that will change lives.
Entertainment included a live singing performance by dispute resolution associate Sophie Engel, accompanied by employment associate James Edmonds on guitar. Meanwhile Magic Circle member Charles Lee dazzled the crowd with a mesmerising magic act.
Launched by Josh and Holly Eggleton, The Pony Farm Bus initiative is dedicated to promoting food literacy and healthier choices by deepening the understanding of food origins. The interactive farm bus aims to empower people nationwide by providing cooking classes, workshops, demonstrations and informational resources.
The event was part of Burges Salmon’s charitable theme, ‘Fairer Futures for Young People’, with the firm working with a wide range of charities and community groups across Bristol, Edinburgh and London to support education, health and wellbeing and social mobility projects.
