Creative agency launches new studio

A creative agency has moved into its new studio following a major renovation of a former farm house in South Marston.

GEL Studios launched a number of new services over the past two years which has meant the team has grown.

Having recently become B Corp Certified, GEL Studios said it was keen to make their new offices as sustainable as possible, using local tradespeople, environmentally friendly materials and installing efficient energy systems.

GEL Studios worked with local workplace interior designer Debbie Watts, from Ashlar-ID, and local tradespeople to renovate the building within five weeks.

Askwith Electrical, A Walklett Plastering, Anything Alan, CB Carpentry, SR Decorators, Red Squirrel Plumbing and TIP IT Swindon worked on the project.

Graeme Leighfield, managing director of GEL Studios, said: “Swindon has been GEL Studios’ home for 10 years this summer and being able to open this office in time for the ten-year anniversary is a milestone in itself. We are very excited to have opened our state-of-the-art studios so quickly. It really is a testament to the team of experts we turned to, to turn this project from a vision to reality.

“As our studio, team and clients grow, our commitment to do good for our local community grows too. While many businesses look to downsize or close their offices completely, we’re committed to playing an active part of Swindon’s community for years to come.”
