Communications agency expands with new appointment

An independent PR and communications firm specialising in working with agencies and owner-managed businesses has expanded.

Alexandra Johansen has joined Carnsight Communications as an account executive.

Alexandra initially joined the company as part of a three-month internship earlier this year and has now become a permanent member of the team.

Additionally, Leigh-Ann Hewer, who joined in 2019, has been promoted to senior account manager and Yasmin Alqatari, who joined in 2021, has been promoted to social media Manager. They join business owner, Jessica Morgan.

Since its founding in 2016, the agency has worked with over 100 businesses, including notable clients in the South West and across the UK, such as Armadillo, Birchwood Care, CareScribe, Walr and the Flexible Space Association.

The agency offers PR services, social media management and content creation.

Jessica Morgan said: “Alexandra has swiftly demonstrated her immense value to our team and we’re very lucky to have found her. Her exceptional writing skills and sharp eye for a story will make her an invaluable addition.”

Alexandra added: “It’s fantastic to be joining such a highly regarded agency that exemplifies excellence in PR and communications. I am eager to contribute my skills, passion, and dedication to further elevate the agency’s success and leave a lasting impact on our clients.”

Carnsight Communications has recently launched a new website, developed by local firm Son of Jesse. It was shortlisted as a Small Business of the Year in Business Leader’s annual awards, 2022. The consultancy draws on over 20 years of industry experience in London and now operates near Bath, with a solid foundation in media relations.
