Corporate tax director joins PKF Francis Clark

PKF Francis Clark has strengthened its tax team with the appointment of experienced corporate tax director Jamie Preston.

Based in Exeter, he brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate taxes gained during his career with EY and, more recently, Grant Thornton.

A former professional footballer for Chesterfield, Preston trained as an accountant after his sporting career was cut short by injury in the 1990s. He now advises businesses across a range of sectors, including large national and international groups, on both domestic and international financial reporting and tax compliance obligations, as well as dealing with corporate group expansion planning and reorganisation projects.

He said: “I’m looking forward to developing lasting relationships with clients and colleagues and sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained over many years working in tax to make a real difference for our clients.
