Commercial property firm opens new Bristol office

Commercial property firm Graham and Sibbald has announced it is moving to a new Bristol office.

Following a strong first year of trading the chartered surveyors and property consultants have relocated to Queen Square in central Bristol.

G+S has also announced a new professional rugby partnership with England Red Rose and Bristol Bears player Holly Aitchison.

Director and head of Bristol office John Gardner said: “The firm’s history of support for local professional rugby is part of the company’s DNA and reflects the G+S service hallmarks of professionalism and care.

!I’m very pleased that we can extend this tradition to Bristol by supporting Holly during her career. It is hoped that this sponsorship will not only promote awareness of the women’s game; but can also help to promote awareness of career opportunities in the world of property, and to act as a stepping stone for Holly and others to consider a new career in surveying following their retirement from rugby.”

This is the fifth English office opening within the past five years, and brings 50 years of experience into the heart of Bristol’s historic centre.

G+S is already involved in the city, providing pre-acquisition advice on landmark Harbourside properties V Shed and the South Building. This is in addition to the asset management services that G+S is already providing for commercial properties across Bristol and the South West.

Within the Bristol office there is John Gardner MRICS (Director), Billy Overton MRICS, and Graduate Surveyor Liam Stevens providing Building Surveying services.

This team is also closely supported by Murray Walker MRICS (Director) who is predominately based in the Swindon office, but regularly works in Bristol providing Asset Services. G+S plans to extend our service offer to include Commercial Agency, and Carbon + Sustainability services in Bristol, the South West, and South Wales.

John Gardner added: “Our new ties in the region will enable us to expand our offer and provide the professional services that has made G+S successful from Inverness to London. And with a team of 250+ specialists behind us, we’re bringing a competitive and comprehensive range of capabilities to our new central Bristol home.

“I’m also pleased to say that conversations to extend the service offer are underway with several candidates, and I hope to be able to provide more good news regarding recruitment in the very near future.”
