PR agency finishes year with two new contract wins

THE Midlands office of international PR and communications agency Grayling has secured two new contract wins.

The Birmingham-based operation will be representing charity Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and vehicle engineering firm MIRA.

Grayling Midlands will publicise all events and fundraising initiatives for the Loughborough-based charity while the agency has been appointed to promote the MIRA’s engineering developments within the automotive, defence, rail and aerospace industries.

In addition, it will be working on further communications around the £250m redevelopment of MIRA’s global headquarters near Nuneaton.

Director at Grayling Midlands Kate Macnamara said: “The economic climate has made 2010 tough for all creative teams, but to come out of it so strong with year-on-year revenue growth of 16% puts us in a great position for next year.

“We’ve also expanded the team with Stuart Haynes joining as senior client executive and Jade Devlin as client executive.

“Both have played pivotal roles in some of the fantastic campaigns that we’ve delivered for clients in 2010.”

During 2010, Grayling Midlands has won contracts with FRP Advisory, Northamptonshire County Council and the recent UKTI Technology World exhibition.
