Taylor to lead bank team

YORKSHIRE Bank has appointed Andy Taylor to lead its Corporate and Structured Finance division in the North West and the Midlands.

Andy – who has 30 years’ experience in banking – has been with Yorkshire Bank since 2005 and is currently area director of acquisition finance.

Under Andy’s leadership the acquisition finance team has funded over £250m of deals.  Key deals he has worked on have included: the £33m public to private of Ascribe; the institutional buy-out of marine services group Viking Moorings; the £24m management buy-out (MBO) of TSC Foods which manufactures soups and sauces; and the £19.5m MBO of support services company Mavinwood.

In his new role as regional director, he will replace Paul Shephard who was recently promoted to national head of the Corporate and Structured Finance team.

My aim is to further raise our profile by supporting yet more high quality transactions and be recognised for being at the forefront of debt funding.”

Since its launch, Yorkshire Bank‘s Corporate and Structured Finance division has become firmly established as one of the major providers of acquisition finance for mid-market deals and is now increasingly being recognised for its funding capabilities in the corporate arena.

The division is part of iFS (integrated Financial Solutions), the bank’s integrated, business and private banking business.
