Aurrigo’s autonomous tech approved for global airport rollout

Aurrigo International’s autonomous airside solutions have been formally approved for recommendation to be deployed across Aviation Solutions’ network of more than 60 airports worldwide, following successful testing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
The trials featured Aurrigo’s Auto-DollyTug® and Auto-Sim® technologies and mark a key milestone in the partnership announced in April 2024 between Aurrigo and Aviation Solutions, a division of Royal Schiphol Group.
Royal Schiphol Group owns and operates Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam The Hague Airport, and Lelystad Airport, holding a majority stake in Eindhoven Airport. Its global reach also includes stakes in Brisbane Airport, Hobart International, and JFK Terminal 4, alongside agreements with Beijing Capital International Airport and Seoul Incheon.
With testing under the Royal Schiphol Group contract now validated, the focus shifts to commercialising Aurrigo’s proven technology for deployment at airports worldwide.
Marcel Stroop, director of Go-to-Market at Aviation Solutions commented: “Aurrigo International is a true front-runner in the field of autonomous ground handling technology. Our partnership marks an exciting milestone in our effort to bring proven innovations from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to airports across the world.”
“We collaborate with partners and airports to innovate, faster. To be able to provide airports solutions we guarantee will work with a 100% confidence level. I’m very excited that Aurrigo is now also part of that movement.”
David Keene, CEO of Aurrigo International commented: “We are delighted to be able to announce this endorsement from Aviation Solutions, following the successful Auto-Dolly Tug® trials at Schiphol. This confirms the growing demand in the aviation industry for our smart airside solutions and further strengthens our go-to-market strategy with an incentivised partner who has access to a wide group of well-informed, supportive aviation customers.”
