Staffline secures welfare to work contracts

STAFFLINE, the national people outsourcing organisation, has won a contract from the Department for Work and Pensions in the West Midlands.
Its wholly owned subsidiary EOS will work alongside local authorities to support members of long-term unemployed families to overcome barriers to securing work in the region.
The new contract will come into effect in December and, combined with a similar deal in Yorkshire and Humberside, is expected to generate revenues of around £53m over a three-year period for the Nottingham-based company.
They would earnings neutral for the first year and earnings enhancing thereafter, it said today.
Chief executive Andy Hogarth said: “We are delighted to have secured these additional contracts from the Department for Work and Pensions and look forward to working with the local authorities across the West Midlands and Yorkshire and Humberside.
“EOS remains an exciting growth driver within our portfolio of activities across the employment spectrum.”
