Lovell appointed to £90m housing framework regen

STAFFORDSHIRE affordable housebuilder Lovell has been appointed to a £90m framework by a North West social housing provider.
First Choice Homes Oldham has chosen the Tamworth firm as one of 14 contractors, along with Walsall-based Bullock Construction, to work on the refurbishment project.
The four-year project, due to commence early next year, will see hundreds of properties in FCHO’s 12,000-strong portfolio undergo kitchen and bathroom replacements, electrical and heating upgrades and external improvements.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Lovell’s parent company Morgan Sindall Group, said: “This framework appointment enhances our position as leading provider of planned and response maintenance services to housing associations and local authorities nationwide.
“We look forward to working with FCHO throughout the duration of the framework.”
