Former Eversheds man is new chairman of Springboard

BIRMINGHAM-based corporate finance firm Springboard has brought in experienced dealmaker Mike Seabrook as chairman.

Seabrook is a well-known figure in the Midlands corporate finance community and. In 2011 he retired from Eversheds where he was a corporate partner for nearly 20 years and a board member for 13 years. 

During his time with Eversheds the firm expanded from one office in Birmingham to an international practice with 45 offices and a turnover of £355m. Seabrook also holds a number of other non-executive roles including as a director of  Birmingham law firm Gateley, Steelite International and MC Trustees and as a trustee to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity.
