Entrepreneurs targeted by franchise exhibition organisers

ENTREPRENEURS looking to move into the franchise sector are being targeted by organisers of this year’s National Franchise Exhibition, which is returning to the NEC Birmingham.

The exhibition, taking place on Friday and Saturday, will give would-be entrepreneurs the chance to discover a range of new business opportunities and meet franchise companies face to face.

Visitors will also receive free expert advice from industry leaders, as well as the opportunity to attend various seminars. These will be on all aspects of franchising and include several presentations run by The British Franchise Association.

The seminars will feature a panel of industry leading experts including lawyers, bankers, consultants and the franchisors themselves.

There will be more than 140 exhibitors at the event offering new investors opportunities across a broad spectrum of sectors such as food and drink, retail, property, homecare, fitness and finance. Many major franchised businesses will be present including: McDonald’s, Cash Converters, Guinot, thebestof, The Creation Station, Belvoir Lettings, Mail Boxes Etc., Anytime Fitness and many more from the UK and around the world.

The Real Franchise Stories seminars will provide visitors with the opportunity to hear from other people who have already become successful franchisees. They will talk about the realities of making the transition from being employed to self-employed and their successes and failures.

The Franchise Starting Point will offer potential franchisees free ‘one to one’ advice from experts in all fields including lawyers, bankers, consultants and experienced franchisors. Help will also be available on accessing finance.

People bringing their business plan along to the event, no matter what stage they are at, will receive free advice on their proposal.
