Baby boom prompts fertility clinic’s move to Tamworth

BLUE Marble Properties has acquired a 15,000 sqft office building at Ventura Park, Tamworth, on behalf of Midland Fertility Services.

Financial details have not been disclosed.

Midland Fertility Services is an independent fertility clinic. It is relocating from its current base in Aldridge.

It was established more than 25 years ago and nearly 6,000 babies have been born following treatment at the clinic. As the business has expanded, it has outgrown its existing premises and the search for a new home began in January 2013.

Blue Marble Properties identified an existing two storey office in Tamworth which was being sold by administrators for the previous owner. 

Midland Fertility Services is fitting out the premises ready for its relocation in autumn 2014. The building will provide state of the art laboratory facilities and a suite of private consultation rooms.

“We are looking forward to relocating this year when we will be able to offer our clients even better facilities.”

“When we identified the Tamworth building, it became apparent that the scarcity of such good properties in the market would lead to competition to buy it and I’m very pleased that we were able to beat the other interest and successfully complete the purchase for our client.”
