Samsung hands Big new phone campaign

MIDLANDS advertising agency Big Communications has won a three-way competitive pitch to launch a new Samsung handset in 02 stores across the UK.

The rugged Solid Immerse phone is aimed at extreme sports enthusiasts and Big’s successful pitch focused on this. Designers produced a campaign featuring bold imagery with the slogan “Handles anything you can throw at it”.

In-store mechanical display units highlight the fact the phone is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof – brought to life by showing the phone being plunged into water, sand and placed in a wind tunnel.

The promotion is now live in 02 stores across the UK.
