There have already been some big announcements such as the news that Birmingham City Council is now formally seeking a joint venture partner to deliver a new £35m ‘Digital Plaza’ office complex in Aston.

And Business Birmngham, the inward investment arm of Marketing Birmingham, has conducted a survey which showed green credentials are key to property investors in 2011.

It’s not all about doing deals though as two directors from real estate services firm Savills, James Tottle and Hazel Butler, were among 20 to complete the 1,500km, six-day cycle ride for charity.
