COLESHILL-based drinks logistics firm Tradeteam has won a six-year contract with pub and leisure chain Whitbread in an undisclosed deal.
The company will be supplying all of Whitbread’s UK brands across nearly 600 sites including Premier Inn, Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Table Table and Taybarns.
The agreement includes the provision of stock ownership, forecasting and replenishment services, order taking, warehousing, distribution and customer services and commences this month.
Tradeteam managing director Gavin Murdoch said: “This contract represents a huge vote of confidence in Tradeteam from a major player in the hospitality sector.
“It reflects on our long-term commitment to growing our business in partnership with some of the industry’s leading lights.”
Whitbread’s logistics director Brodie McMillan added: “We have appointed Tradeteam on the basis of a rigorous and successful competitive tender process.
“We were impressed by the flexibility and comprehensiveness of Tradeteam’s offering along with its long-standing reputation in the industry.”
Tradeteam is part of DHL and employs over 2,200 people with 600 vehicles, claiming a turnover of more than £155m.
