Liquid PR merges with Channel Islands agency

WORCESTERSHIRE-based Liquid PR has merged with an agency in the Channel Islands just 15 months after being run as a one-person operation.

The tie up with One Strategic Marketing will be known as ‘Liquid’ and will operate from four offices in Bromsgrove, London, Jersey and Guernsey.

The merger brings the total payroll to 13 staff and broadens the company’s offering to include advertising, marketing, design and web development services.

Prior to the merger, Liquid PR and One Strategic Marketing worked together on a number of clients in the Channel Islands, UK and Dubai after agreeing a formal alliance 12 months ago.

Liquid PR chief executive Elisabeth Lewis-Jones said: “This is an exciting development for both agencies and creates a multi-jurisdictional consultancy with the skills and expertise to work locally, nationally and internationally.

“We are the only consultancy in the UK with offices in Jersey and Guernsey. We are ideally placed to service the growing off shore community and the important financial sector.”

Ms Lewis-Jones, a former president of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, is joined on the board by One Strategic Marketing’s managing director Jason MacKenzie, creative director Glen Smith and PR directors Katrina Bray and Lisa Gutcher.

Mr MacKenzie added: “The recent opening of Liquid’s London office, following the appointment of former global director of communications for the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, Clive Booth, has enabled us to establish a public affairs division too so that we can meet the needs of our current and future clients.”
