Property Appoinments: Seddon, BNP Paribas, Willmott Dixon

SEDDON Construction has appointed Richard Sapcote to head up its operations across the West Midlands.

He joins the Bolton-based, family-owned company as business unit manager and will be working from its Birmingham office.

Mr Sapcote’s role will see him focussing on expanding the current business which has been in Birmingham for almost 15 years.

“I’m truly excited to be working for a family-led business and in my home city of Birmingham,” he said.

Previously, he has held senior roles in companies including ROK, as well as his family’s business WM Sapcote and Sons Ltd.

Mr Sapcote was recently re-elected as chairman of the Chartered Institute of Building for the West Midlands region, following a long association with the organisation, having previously been chairman between 2011 and 2003 and the Birmingham Centre in 1997.
