Worcestershire law firm relocates to support growth

WORCESTERSHIRE law firm Lumsdons Solicitors has moved to larger offices to support its growth strategy.
Lumsdons, which changed its name from Lumsdon Grindley in 2010, has travelled the short distance from its former home in Stourport’s New Street to a more prominent location at Salford House, Bridge Street.
Most of the firm’s 19 staff will be based at the new offices in the riverside town with five colleagues based at Lumsdons’ office in Clydesdale House, in Worcester city centre.
Partner Keith Yates said: “We were based in New Street for 25 years but this move into more spacious, open plan offices in a more visible location is the latest step in our practice’s modernisation.”
The firm has also installed new hi-tech equipment, overhauled its website and is developing social media techniques as part of its plan to gain LEXCEL status – a legal management and customer care standard set by The Law Society.
“We’re a traditional law firm which will continue to serve the community where we have been based since 1947 – but we’re also a progressive practice with an eye on the future,” said Mr Yates.
